In 2020, El Nelly together with a few friends recorded and shot a video advert for Highland Tea but since then the company didn't reach out or send any positive reviews.
Apart from endowment with Natural resources and nature gifts, Taraba State is home to the biggest tea plantation in Nigeria and Africa at large. A report on 12 May 2021 by Nigeria Stories said Taraba State has the biggest tea plantation in Africa with 615 hectares of land.
Highland tea represents a treasure not only for Tarabans but for the country at large, Taraba birthed artiste El Nelly felt the need to promote this jewel by using his talent and collaboration with others to shoot a unique advert for the brand in 2020. But ever since he released the advert video he hasn't gotten any positive feedback from the organization, the advert when sorted by a correspondent of Jeremy Spell Blog shows that it is still unique and doesn't age a little, but sadly it didn't get recognized by the Highland Tea brand.
As an international brand recognized in the country, it is sad to realize the company doesn't have any social media handle where it can be reached, although the world which currently sat in the 21st Century is still new to the company when it comes to social media marketing and promotions.
The artist El Nelly who didn't give up on promoting his advert continues to share the video to reach relevant authorities and the government in case his efforts will be recognized.
