The Renaissance Polytechnic Zing has graduated thirty-six students after three years of establishment.
The institution which is nicknamed "R Poly Zing" was established on 6th February, 2019 in Zing local Government area of Taraba State. The institution is the third of the Renaissance vision to offer qualitative affordable and contemporary education to humanity, having already established Renaissance Academy Zing (Primary School) and Renaissance Secondary School Zing respectively.
According to the management, the institution took off with 26 students across five departments of Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, Computer Science, Public Administration and Statistics respectively. In the second session of the institution, Mass Communication and Science Laboratory Technology were introduced to add to the number of courses and Higher National Diploma was also introduced in Computer Science. The institution has 24 academic staff (which consist of one PHD, four MSc and nineteen BSc/BA Ed holders). The institution also pride itself as the first private polytechnic in Taraba state and the second in the Northeastern part of Nigeria.
It is recognized by the Board for Technical Education (NBTE), registered with Corporate Affairs Commission and affiliated to Gboko Polytechnic Gboko, Benue State.
It is presently using the Mumuye Education Endowment complex temporarily while building its permanent site along Bitako Ibrahim road in Zing.
"R POLY Zing" is currently admitting students for the 2021/2022 session into ND and HND programs respectively.
