Tuno Benedict Samaila was Born on 22nd May 1978 in Gayama, Donga Local Government Area of Taraba State. Tuno is a banker and an entrepreneur. He is married to Blessing Tuno Benedict and blessed with three (3) adorable children, Emobwese Benedict, Mono Bernard, and Echwano Benedicta.
To early years in primary school were spent in Gayama Special Primary School from 1983-to 1988 where he was the deputy head boy and later the Head boy and emerged as the best Pupil. He attended Government Day Secondary School Mararraba from 1989-1991 and later was picked as one of the top ten students and sent to Government Science Secondary School Donga from 1992-1994 where he obtained his WAEC certificate.
Thereafter, he proceeded to state Polytechnic Yola in Adamawa State (1995-1996) for his IJMB and later proceeded to the University of Maiduguri in Borno State, where he obtained a second class upper Degree in Geography between 1998-2002. He attended the National Open University where he obtained a Master's in Business administration (MBA), and he just completed another Master's in Public Administration (Public Policy Analysis) at the Nasarawa State University.
An accomplished Banker, Farmer, Teacher, and administrator, one of the leading entrepreneurs in Taraba state. He is an Elder in the council of Christian Reformed Church, Nigeria Nyanya Abuja.
Tuno is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Economics of Nigeria.
INTERNATIONAL ESTEEM INDICATORS
He is a supporter and also a registered member of Amnesty international. Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people in over 150 countries and territories who campaign to end abuses of human rights.
WORK EXPERIENCE
After his secondary school, during the construction of maraba Baissa road by (CNOEL) he worked as one of the laborers in drainage and bridge construction because he does not want to be idle, as the saying goes "An idle man is the devil's workshop".
He also engage in Okada riding (Achaba) while waiting to go to a higher institution as well, he also worked in Mairiga guest in Takum as a receptionist and was later promoted to the position of manager.
After university, he served at the University of Ado Ekiti as a graduate assistant at the department of geography and town planning.
As luck would have it he got a job in June 2006 with the First bank. He started as customer service officer, cashier, clearing officer, later on as head cash as also head customer service. He was appointed branch service manager in the year 2012 the youngest as at then in Abuja National assembly branch.
Then later got appointed as Business manager in 2017 until date. In his 15 and half years in banking, he has worked in ten (10) different branches because of his versatility and problem-solving nature and those branches are within Abuja environs. In addition to banking jobs, He also deals with agro products such as sesame seed, soya beans, cashew, corn, and maize. He buys in trailers(source locally) and supplies to the company. Aside from that he also runs a non-governmental organization, fully funded by him which was named the(Tii-Adwa foundation).
HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT
Tuno's desire for the service of humanity, founded the Tii-Adwa Foundation in the year 2020, which is involved in taking care of the vulnerable, especially the Widows and Orphans. As a compassionate leader, he gives out clothing to the widows and the elderly in the society every festive period as his social responsibility and also supports students in higher institutions with school fees and upkeep where need be and when he is called upon.

2. Award of Honour for contribution to youth and students, promotion of unity, Peacebuilding, and supporting less privilege, presented by North East Global Youth Initiative.
3. Award for selfless and exemplary leadership style, presented by Christian Reformed Church, Nigeria LCC Nyanya.
4. Award of recognition as a benefactor of the year presented by Gayama Empire international on 28 December 2021.
5. Award of Excellence for contribution to the development of youths in southern Taraba, presented by South event management. 3rd, December 2021.
POLITICAL AMBITION
Hon. Tuno is a registered member of the All progressive congress party (APC) since the year (2014). He has worked with every joule for the progress of the party across all levels, federal, state,e, and local government. He was among the young agile men who always helped develop strategies for the party (APC) and helped the party to spread its coverage with a rooted foundation across the state and Nigeria as a whole.
Until the year 2021, through which Tuno made his intentions known to his people by reaching out to various wards under Donga, Ussa,Taku,m and Yangtu development areas of Taraba State"Divine Mandate" is said to be his slogan on posters and banners this explains the beginning of his political ambition under the All progressive congress party (APC)
THE POLICY AGENDA / MANIFESTO
Tuno stated few of his manifesto and policy agenda if elected as member house of representatives.
His vision for Takum, Donga, Ussa, and Yangtu constituency come 2023, which was realized a long time before now, his major and main priority are the actualization of;
1 .Leadership and good governance.
2 .Youth and women empowerment through skill acquisition.
3 .Reliable security .
4. Infrastructural development.
Conclusively, he also added that It's important that we begin to focus more closely on the individuals seeking elective office in our country and their qualifications in terms of character, competence, capacity, and track record. He has to matched the speed of contemporary times and exhibited the good qualities of a leader. As he thirsts to make a greater impact in the society because he wants what is best for the people of his constituency may he succeed.
