Jalingo Reading Club Unveils Peace as Taraba Speller of the Year (2021) for Upper Primary category in the Maiden Edition of her Spell The Bee (STB) annual inter-school and state-wide spelling bee competition tagged 'Words Changed The World'. The competition which lasted 6 hours was streamed live was held on the 13th of March at LT1D, Taraba State University, Jalingo Taraba State.
Peace O. Onoja, an 8 year old famale pupil of primary four (4) from 3Ps Academy located in Tecnobat Estate, Mile Six Jalingo, Taraba State emerged winner of the spelling competion. She scored 90 points out of 110 point making her the Speller of the year (2021) dor the upper primary category.
31 schools from Jalingo and Ardo Kola LGA participated and a total of 93 spellers from the different schools.
The first Runner up was a 13 yeal old female pupil of primary 6 from Pacesetters Academy located besides Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo. She scored 80 points out of 110 points.

The second runner up was a 9 year old male pupil of primary 4 from Baptust Academy who scored 70 poins out of 110 points.
The event hosted and organized by Jalingo Reading Club is set to position Taraba State for recognition on National and Global platforms according to the Founder Mr. Samuel Jesse Dan'zumi. The event was graced by high profile dignitories among which is Professor Solomon Iyekekpolor the Director Academic Planning, Taraba State University Jalingo.
