Tragedy struck on Wednesday as unknown gunmen suspected to be militia reportedly killed 3 farmers while working in their farms in Wukari LG of Taraba state.
It was gathered by Rhapsodi Affos Blog from a community source that the farmers made their end in the early hours of Wednesday while working on their
Farma in Assa village a suburb of Wukari Local Government Area of the state when the gunmen attacked them.
The Executive Chairman of Wukari Local Government Council, Dr. Daniel Adi confirmed the report to Rhapsodi Affos Blog via telephone.
Dr. Daniel said the incident happened in the farmyards of the deceased, where they were clearing the field for the new planting season.
Adding that their dead bodies were brought to Wukari General Hospital by police escort.
