Taraba State Government to distribute food Items to Muslim umma's in the state for Ramadan.
His Excellency Enrg. Haruna Manu Deputy Governor Taraba State has said that food Items will be distributed to Muslim faithfuls in the state. The Deputy Governor disclosed this in a statement today during an inspection to the warehouse where the food items were stocked. He said it is one of the Governors culture that every Ramadan period he distributes palliatives for Fasting to the Muslims in the state.
Manu said such gesture has become part and parcel of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku's administration since 2015 till date and this is not new because his love for Tarabans and his efforts in easing their pains has always been on the front page of his schedules.
He however said these palliatives in particular are majorly for the Muslim umma's and the distribution will commence by tomorrow. He said the state Government has another palliatives to be distributed to the entire citizens in the state by next week and urge the citizens to remain calm and stay safe in this period of global threat. Items to be distributed includes over 4300 bags of millet and 3800 bags of sugar.
