A Message On 2023 Election Delivered By John Best Uche (The Social Voice)

Dear Nigerian Youth,

As you know, we are a few hours away from the historic long awaited #2023Elections.

As a Leadership and Social Change Advocate, I believe in a working and better Nigeria. And a functional Nigeria is only possible with the citizens (especially the youth population) of Nigeria.

I encourage you to be civically responsible to Nigeria. One of the ways to do that is to participate in the elections on Saturday, February 25, and March 11, 2023 for Presidential and National Assembly Elections and Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections respectively which would determine the future of Nigeria.

If you have your PVC, I urge you to go cast your vote for your preferred candidate in whom you are convinced to take Nigeria to a desired level of development.

If you do not vote, you democratically lose the right to complain.

On the other hand, it is no news that youths are major instruments used for the perpetration of violence and some acts of electoral malpractices by some egoistic politicians. This is because of the energy and strength they (youth) possess and exude. the light of the above, I am pleading and imploring the youth to disappoint these politicians and rather use their youthful energy and vigour for positive ventures and activities in this electioneering period and beyond with the interest of Nigeria for Nigerians.

Shun all forms of violence. Give peace a chance.

Remember to be cautious and to engage in any political politics-related argument with anyone especially this period.

For your safety, after exercising your franchise by casting your vote, move a distance away from the voting area while you monitor the voting process ifnt to. And if not, after casting your vote, go back to your house and continue monitoring online through the authentic and verified mediums by INECNigeria.org.

By all means, avoid the urge to share falsehood of any sort as it concerns the elections as a lot of people out there are willing to peddle fake news online expecting others to join in the spread.

Do not forget, Nigeria is our home before anywhere else we may have to call one. So, we must do all in our power to keep our home homely!

God bless you,

God bless Nigeria!
