Members of Sabon Gari, Saminaka in Jalingo have received the insecticide-treated nets today 21st September which has been distributed in various to help curb mosquito bites.
The nets which were deployed by Catholic Relief Services in collaboration with organizations have reached some parts of the areas of Sabon Gari and Saminaka.
One of the editors of our blog who was there witnessed the distribution of the insecticide and took pictures during the distribution.
Speaking with one of the beneficiaries Maman Hananiah, who lives in Sabon Gari, she expresses her satisfaction over the step toward this aid;
"We will sleep comfortably now without the sound of mosquitoes," she said.
Also, some mosquito nets have been seen hung around in the house to allow it to be ventilated, below are some of the pictures.
