Godwin chidera Basil (born 13th May) stage name "Spylex" is a fast rising Nigerian Afro-Pop singer, songwriter, trumpeter and artiste. Spylex started his music journey when he released "Too Good" in 2019 featuring "Young Hero" and "Yaroon" produced by "Real J" one of Taraba renowned producers who produced for Patoranking, Charlee Nathan and lot more.

At a young age spylex have proved that he is ready and have gotten acceptance by the younger generation.

                         EDUCATION

During his high school days spylex studied at Anglican Comprehensive High School Jalingo and currently an undergraduate student of Taraba State University.

                           CAREER

Although his first single was officially reeleased in 2019, he started music in 2016. Spylex has composed a lot of songs during his high school days and is still composing many more. He has worked with many producers in the city of Jalingo and have recorded some songs too. Some of the songs are Suffer, One Kiss, You Be God, Make Am and Too Good.  

Spylex also cited Victor AD as his mentor and best artiste.

                     PERSONAL LIFE

Spylex is a handsome young man who lives in Jalingo, Taraba State capital. A Godfearing Christian who is currently in the Boys Brigade to crown it all he is a trumpeter. He also lives with his parents and two siblings.

He is predicated to be among the competitors of the headies award. Although he has never made mention of his girlfriend we are certain that spylex is in love with a beautiful lady.
