"CHH Rapper Still Relevant To Gospel Music Quest Even After The 2019 Contest" - Rilsam


Upcoming CHH rapper Samuel Suleiman who is popular known by his stage name Rilsam recently got a call by the biggest Music Competition in the North East, Nigeria to be featured in a special video.

In 2019, the rapper picked a challenge to participate in the Gospel Music Quest  which held its Grand finale in 2020 shortly before the lock down in the city of Jalingo, Taraba State. After scaling through the auditions amidst other popular rappers like Deenathanee and Prestigious Erik Nath and other fine singers in town, the rapper made it to the grand finale which Gift Francis won the contest and left with a grand prize of N200,000. 

Rilsam the rapper posted in his WhatsApp story a few weeks back explaining his journey as a music artist and how he got negative feedbacks from family regarding the contest. The CEO of Gospel Music Quest, Sunday Omoraka saw the posts and asked him to get featured in a special video that was recorded by one of the finest videographer Legacy. The video was released in the Recently created Gospel Music Quest's YouTube handle which got lots of reactions, comments and clicks. The video happens to be the first on the YouTube handle and also starts as the first episode of the phase of the contest title "My GMQ Story" Mr Sunday the CEO had said the rapper is the inspiration behind "My GMQ story" expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the rapper for agreeing to be  be featured in the special.
