Miss Mumuye Nigeria Contestant Verah Samuel Gwadana is concerned about the girl child
The ambitious contestant priority is geared towards the woman in the society and everything that affects her emotionally or mentally
A lot of Mumuye women have suffered domestic violence in their various homes and this have traumatized the family and children for a long time and thus becoming a problem in different homes
According to a research "Domestic violence tears lives apart. One in 3 women experience physical or sexual violence, or both, caused by someone known to them. It affects women, children, the family and the community. And it has big personal, social and economic effects"
Some of it includes, death, illness, emotional psychological trauma etc..
Children Of those women who experience violence, more than 50% have children in their care. Children and young people don't have to see the violence to be affected by it. Studies show that living with domestic violence can cause physical and emotional harm to children and young people.
Help Verah Samuel Gwadana to achieve this by voting her in the ongoing Miss Mumuye Nigeria Contest
