Lockdown Extension: Toke Makinwa urges FG to give Nigerians N10k

Popular Nigerian media personality and beauty mogul, Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to call on the Federal Government to help Nigerians to survive during the new lockdown extension order.
The media personality said the transfer of cash would be easy since many now have their bank verification number. She further added that the new 14-day extension of the lockdown would be harder on Nigerians.

Legit.ng had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari addressed Nigerians on Monday, April 13. The President reminded Nigerians that the coronavirus pandemic is not a joke and people need to take it seriously. 
In his address, the President also ordered that the 14-day lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun state would be extended for another 14days.
After his address, Makinwa took to the popular micro-blogging platform to share her thoughts.
She asked the federal government to try and funds for Nigerians during the extension.

According to her, even N10k would go a long way in relieving the pains of the people duringvthe additional 14-day lockdown. She added that since most Nigerians now have Bank verification number it would be easy for cash to be disbursed.
