The vice chancellor of Federal University Wukari, Prof. Abubakar Musa Kundiri have been tagged a proactive leader as his leadership skills sets him above his contemporaries, ranging from creating a new mental reorientation, disciplinary measures & elevating the school's academic standard to that which its graduate can be compete effectively in the labour market.

His developmental strides & quest to make Federal University Wukari a hub of education has led him initiating projects, structures, accreditation & creating a news image for the institution. His works are as audible to the deaf & visible to the blind & thus deserves a presidential recommendation.

It's not a new thing as the erudite and international Professor of Agriculture is making a remarkable wave in the north east part of the country through his leadership capabilities in Federal university Wukari.

He opened the new year 2020 with a maiden interactive section with all staffs & also Inspection of projects in university under his watch. His new Year's message to everyone in 2020 is

 "Do what you can with all you have, wherever you are." -

It was a remarkable moment as he met with all staff of Federal University Wukari on Monday in the heart of Kwararafa kingdom (Wukari) to welcome them into a new year 2020 officially and celebrate with them to start a fresh year that will move the university fast in Nigeria among others high institution.

The Vice Chancellor led the management team to a forum where he admonished, advice, counsel & also interacted with the team:

1. He charged the academic staff to have access to quality materials and study more, indeptly  in order to be  the best resource person for the students in the university.

2. He admonished them to continue to further their study in quality Institution of learning that is far bigger than Federal university Wukari to get more and return to train our student, and under this present leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister of Education, Tetfund and Professor Abubakar Musa Kundiri there are resources to train all assistant Graduate to get more knowledge to come back and train the students.

3. The Vice Chancellor also spoke on the use of Social media to all staffs of the university Wukari to be careful not to take to the public domain unverified news & avoid contradiction of any wrong information that will give wrong image to the University.

4. He further, reinstated his love for students that they are his heart and all staffs must love, protect all of them. They shouldn't  delay or any endanger any student(s). He added that once any staff is found  guilty of  maltreating any student,  that staff will be in danger with the management too.

5. He and the management will make sure they train staffs annually for capability and capacity development via the university support scheme.

6. He also added that  for academic staffs to progress well in their  field, more time should be given to studies as well as being always ready to present a seminar, attain international conference as well writing journal which the University will support all.

7. He however urged that he will work fully with departmental heads to fasten development and research.

He added that anything you want as a staff of Federal University Wukari, your head of department most be fully involved & due process should be followed.

8. He charged the staffs to learn the fastest way of the global challenge system ( ICT) in order to reach higher in life, they will make sure they apply the system of training more people to know more on information communication technology to help each one on duty, and advice them to own just a personal system.

The amiable Professor gave room for questions and answers, which some staff's were able to ask and good answers were given back and the interaction was a success.

The management team present are the Dvc's , University Registrar,  University bursar, Director Security and Safety FUW, Director Work's, NASU and other Senior Staffs.

Finally, the erudite Vice Chancellor went on University inspection immediately after the moment to view the scale of success and progress on project to be completed in the university.

1. Indeed it's not a mistake having Professor Abubakar Musa Kundiri in the heart of Kwararafa kingdom Wukari, he came and upgraded our people knowledge, gave us new identity a promote Peace in Southern Taraba via Training of staff to the Institute of Peace and conflict Resolution Abuja by Mr. Kefas Danborno

2. Prof. Kundiri is a man of "talk and do" without wasting of time, Nigeria need this man in a bigger job that will change many system in government because a hardworking leader can produced fruits in the Society -  Usman Bello

3. The President has done well by sending this visionary leader a seasonal Professor whom dreams are salvage our society in respective of our religious and believed.
 He has won many people heart and we want the Federal Government to remember and still keep him in FUW or Assistant that will lead Nigeria in the future - Miss. Anna.T
