Ahmed Mohammed Azare is the Taraba state police commissioner.
A statement by DSP David Misal, the Taraba police public relations officer, indicated that Azare started his professional journey in the Nigeria Police Force in 1990 as cadet superintendent of police and rose to the present rank. He had served in so many formations within the force in various capacities. Members of the public in Taraba state were enjoined to cooperate with the new police chief as he is determined to keep the state safe by adopting effective and efficient strategies, including community policing.
